World, Technology and You.

The world is on another level. The king of Bahrain arrived in Dubai with a Robot Bodyguard. Talk about the 4th Industrial Revolution. It can speak 6 languages. It can rescue him literally, carry him from mobs, fight physically, chase, and shoot. It’s armed with an electric taser, an undisclosed 360 degrees camera system secondary to a set of infrared cameras, 3 hidden machine guns with enough ammunition to fight 1,050 men and a laser guided sniper machine gun. It also carries medication and water. The guard costs about USD7.4 million. 👇👇👇

Could this be a revenge for Baby Jet?

Allthingsconsidered

There has been a diverse ideas from the public, mostly on the social media sites as to whether Baby Jet should be given the chance to take a revenge against Uruguay at Qater 2022.

Ghanaian forward, Asamoah Gyan, aims to prove himself to all Ghanaians if given the opportunity to play for his country against Uruguay in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Gyan has featured for the Black Stars in three different World Cups and is looking to play in his fourth when the team travels to Qatar.

Ghana have been drawn into Group H with Portugal, South Korea, and Uruguay.

The game against Uruguay has significant importance for Ghana and Gyan. The striker missed a crucial penalty that would have sealed Ghana’s place in the semi-finals of the competition.

Speaking to the BBC, Gyan has stated that he will be looking to prove himself if given the opportunity.

“Ghanaians want revenge [against Uruguay]. It’s the Ghanaian motivation. I’ve been in the game for a long time. People outside know what happened. The whole world knows what happened. When the draw was made and they saw Uruguay were in Ghana’s group, the only thing that came in mind was revenge. It’s a normal thing,” he said.

“Ghanaians want revenge. Personally, I just sat back and I just smiled because I understand how the game goes. Things happen. What happened in 2010 is behind me but maybe there might be another opportunity. When the time comes and I’m part of the team and we play against Uruguay, you might never know what is going to happen. We just have to be ourselves. Obviously, I’m human. I have in the back of my mind that maybe if I get another chance, I can be able to prove myself,” he concluded.

Gyan has not played for the Black Stars since the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations and hasn’t played competitive football in over a year.

The question is, does he merit to be at the Qatar 2022 world cup? Still pondering by many Ghanaians.

GFA Kurt Okraku on his part commended betPawa for the partnership. “On behalf of the Executive Council and the football fraternity in Ghana I wish to thank you for your support.”

Okraku further pointed out that Ghana is blessed with a lot of football talents and evidence is seen through the display of soccer artistry across the various leagues.

He added that “for the country to be able to compete fiercely and on equal footing with other talents across the globe, there is the need for companies like betPawa and corporate Ghana to contribute to complement to the effort of the Government.”

The league had been without a headline sponsor for the past three years after a five-year, $10 million contract signed in 2018 between the Football Association and Zylofon Cash expired prematurely due to the financial institution’s dissolution.

Betting companies have recently taken an interest in Ghana football, with Betway also investing in the women’s league. They have also worked with the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) to organise a series of seminars for Division One League clubs and women’s football administrators.
